Our Plan
Welcome to our blog! We are very excited to share this next chapter in our lives with you.
Our big plans now seem more and more real, as we have told friends, family, bosses, and coworkers of our impending plans to leave the Northern Virginia / DC Metro area. We’ll post a follow-up later about our reasons for leaving and wanting to head West, how it has been breaking the news to folks, and what we’ll miss about this area and time of our lives, but for now, we just want to get this blog going.
We will post a few things before Departure Day, but will really use this blog later on to keep friends and family updated on where we are and what we’re up to. We will be leaving at the end of April, hitching our Skyline Koala trailer up to our Chevy Trailblazer, and moving on out. We will spend the next 6 months cruising the country until finally ending up in Denver, Colorado where we’ll settle in and get back to the real world, ha!
