Continuing Down the California Coast & into the Sacramento Area
After Redwoods National Park, we continued down the coast before turning east.
Here are some pictures of Humboldt Redwoods State Park, where we cruised through the Avenue of the Giants. This was a really nice day excursion, and we stopped at numerous points to walk around, such as the Founders Grove.

Then we headed a bit inland to the Sacramento area, where K’s grandparents live. We spent a few days visiting with them which is always nice. While we were in town, we all went to a local restaurant, known mostly for its ice cream. As you can tell from this picture, we weren’t disappointed!
