South Platte Park
We’ve driven past the South Platte Park and reservoir many times. It’s right off of a main road so we’ve seen it from the car each time and have had it on our list of places to check out.
It’s a nice easy walk by the reservoir, lakes, and along the South Platte River. You can see the foothills in the distance. There were a lot of other walkers, bikers, fishermen, and some dog walkers out and about as well.
It was a nice place but I think we prefer the other parks we’ve been to around here. The thing is though, there is definitely no shortage of options of places to go!
Practicing the down command by stepping on the leash to “encourage” her. It’s sort of working. 🙂 This is one command that she only very grudgingly obeys so far!
